High Flow PEEK
Traditional PEEK resins are notoriously difficult to process by extrusion, due to PEEK’s high melting point and mechanical strength. Delnova Materials introduces High Flow PEEK material, specifically designed for preparing injection-molded thin-walled complex parts. Additionally, High Flow PEEK can be used to prepare highly filled materials without compromising the processability and mechanical properties of the PEEK plastic used.
Key Advantages:
- High Flow PEEK can be used with an increased filler percentage relative to standard PEEK resins.
- High Flow PEEK can possess a fiber filling up to 40-50%, without affecting the processability and surface finishing of the resin.
- High-Flow PEEK has improved injection efficiency, stability, and material flow characteristics.
- In its molten state, High-Flow PEEK can more easily pass through injection molding channels.
- High Flow PEEK possesses a faster crystallization rate, as well as easier demolding properties versus traditional PEEK resins.
- With High-Flow PEEK, a wider range of mold temperature settings can be used.
